A beam needs full bearing, proper elevation, and clean alignment with joists, rafters, or trusses. We set seats and connections so the supported members do not twist or fight the beam line.
Visible Structure Care

Timberr Framing coordinates with your engineer, architect, and GC on dimensional lumber, LVL, PSL, glulam, or heavy timber members, setting the structure to the drawings and Ontario Building Code across the GTA.

What Affects Your Post and Beam Framing Quote
Post and beam work puts the structure on display, so the tolerance for error drops to near zero. Timberr Framing treats every post as a concentrated bearing point, builds full bearing seats rather than partial contact, and handles visible timber and engineered members with the surface care the design calls for, since these members won't be hidden behind drywall.
Quotes depend on member size and species, connector type (steel plates, through-bolts, timber joinery), and how many bearing points the layout carries.
